Founded in 2010, April Reno jewelry is a fashion-forward jewelry line that re-invents timeless style. April’s work is a material manifestation of her creative vision and daring character, and can be worn as an expression of artistic style and fashion fervor. She uses mixed metals, including rhodium, oxidized silver, gold and gunmetal, and Swarovski crystals, cut glass, and semi-precious stones to combine statement style with a classic approach.

April is inspired by history’s most celebrated eras and has been a collector of antique costume jewelry since she was a little girl. The daughter of antique dealers (her mother is also an art teacher), April learned about collecting and valuing pieces from the past while nurturing her creative visual intuition of fashion, style and elegance.

While growing up in New Jersey, April started making jewelry at a very young age. As a teenager, accompanied by her mother, April often traveled to New York City’s Garment District to purchase wholesale beads, stones, and leathers to create one-of-a-kind jewelry that she sold to local clothing boutiques.

After living in New York City for seven years, she and her husband are currently residents of San Francisco. April has always loved the art of fashion and turned her hobby into a full-time business with the launch of April Reno jewelry.
